Program Registration and Product Purchase – The Koogler Group develops and markets educational programs and products. At time of online registration or purchase, we require information necessary to process and fulfill your order. This includes, but is not limited to, customer name, company name, email address, shipping/billing address, telephone number and credit card information.
Transmitted Information – Information is secured during transmission using industry-standard TLS encryption. Collection and processing of your sensitive payment card data is handled directly by our PCI Level 1-compliant processor. Your payment card data never touches or gets stored on our systems.
In-house Publishing Company and Payment Card Orders – All payment card orders are processed in the name of VISION QUEST PUBLICATIONS [VQ], the in-house publishing company of THE KOOGLER GROUP. We use this above information for:
Email Lists – We do NOT share or sell email lists.
Student ID Information – We do NOT share or sell Student Information. We DO report Student information required by State Regulators and/or State Bar Associations for Course monitoring and Course accrediting purposes.
Special Promotions or Sponsored Programs – In the event of a Special Promotion or Sponsored Program involving one or more third-party Sponsors and where access to such Promotion requires submission of contact information [name, email, phone, address] we reserve the right to share such information with said Sponsors. By completing the submission or registration form, you consent to the terms of such Special Promotion or Sponsored Program.
Product Shipment – Our shipping company does not obtain, retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any purposes other than to fulfill orders.
Email Transmission – To support Provider-User and Instructor-Student interaction for Online Programs, we use a third-party bulk email application containing the first and last names and direct email addresses of Users/Students enabling us to contact them on a Group/Classroom basis.
Access Logins – For ONLINE Programs and Products accessed through our Training Portal, we require that USERS login each time they access the Program or Product. User-Specific Data identifies and monitors access by specific individuals [Users] for the purposes shown hereinbelow. In contrast, Aggregated Data Tracking creates a non-identifiable access log, whereby there is no reasonable way for the site to identify the individual person from whom data is collected and contains no personally identifiable information.

Surveys – From time to time, we may invite your participation in industry-specific or education-based surveys. Participation is always voluntary. If you choose to participate, you may be requested to provide certain personally identifiable contact [name/email] or demographic [zip code] information and may not opt out from disclosure. Such information is used for research and development purposes as well as website and system administration.
Order Confirmation – When you register for a Program or purchase a Product through our Online Bookstore, you will receive an auto-generated response acknowledging your Order.
Administrative Support – In addition to the System-Generated response, if you registered to attend a classroom or online Program, you will receive a Course Confirmation email from our office, providing detailed information about the Program. We also use the email address you input on our System to communicate with you for Customer Support purposes.
Special Products and Notification of Future Programs and Products – Periodically we offer Special Products such as Educational Bulletins which you may download from our server. To access such Special Products, you must submit the information required including, but not limited to name, company name, email address, and phone. You may NOT opt out of providing this information. We will use the contact information provided to notify you, by email, of future Educational Bulletins, Programs and Products as they become available. You MAY “unsubscribe” at any time you choose NOT to receive future updates. This is our way of respecting your privacy, by enabling you to “opt out” from future updates via “unsubscribe.”
Service-Related Notification – If you are enrolled in a Program or using an Online Product, we may send you service-related announcements regarding such Programs or Products. This may include a notice in the event service is temporarily disrupted. Due to the support nature of such notifications, you may generally not opt-out from such emails.
Information Disclosure – We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on The Koogler Group or our Vision Quest [our in-house publishing company]. We will notify you in the event we are required to make such disclosure.
Opt-out Rights – Contact Us – You may NOT opt-out of Online Programs and Products that require User/Student tracking. You may also NOT opt-out of Service-Related Notifications. You MAY opt-out of any updates or promotional notifications at any time by simply unsubscribing.
